John Locke論文競賽，以其開創(chuàng)性的學術理念和嚴格的評審標準，在全球范圍內享有極高聲譽，被譽為高中生人文社科領域最具挑戰(zhàn)性和影響力的學術競賽之一。該賽事以英國啟蒙哲學家John Locke的名字命名，意在傳承其理性批判、獨立思考的精神遺產。
此競賽面向全球高中學生開放，鼓勵參賽者深入探究社科人文的各個角落，包括但不限于哲學、歷史、經濟學、政治學、法學、心理學、神學等領域。每一年，組委會都會精心設計出涵蓋七大領域的開放性論文題目，引導參賽者運用批判性思維，結合理論與實踐，對當前的社會問題進行深度剖析和獨特見解的闡述。
